New Client Massages
Our new client massages are more of a general, non-specific massage. These new client appointments allow the LMT to assess the patients current state of well-being, learn the patients’ health goals and to make appropriate recommendations for future care. If a new patient desires a more specific type of massage we ask that the patient discuss that with our LMT at the time of service.

This type of massage is wonderful for our patients that can not lay down on a massage table. The patient is seated, leaning forward with their chest resting on a pad, their face cradled and their forearms resting comfortably on arm pads. This massage is usually preformed upstairs so that the patient does not need to walk down our stairs to the massage room. Accommodations can be made so that is massage is in a relaxing environment, just as all our other massages are.

Types of Massage
Focused on relaxation. Our LMT uses gentle, long massage strokes with effleurage and petrissage. The LMT lengthens and shortens the muscles while instructing the patient on proper breathing. This technique is best for patients who want to relax the mind, body and spirit.
Therapeutic Massage with Deep Tissue Therapy
This therapy warms and spreads the facia surrounding the muscles to enhance freedom of movement. The deep therapy restores movement to the hips and shoulders by decreasing restrictions. The LMT will also utilize trigger point therapy with myofascial release.
This is a non-invasive technique intended to improve or correct a diagnosis provided by a licensed medical provider (MD, DC, DO, PT, DPT). For example, a diagnosis of headaches, migraines, TMJ disorder, sciatica, shoulder/hip dysfunctions, etc. The LMT works closely with the referring provider regarding the patient’s diagnosis and outcome-based care. This technique is unique in that the patient is fully clothed for the entirety of the massage. This therapy is intended to improve function and mobility, reduce pain, increase blood supply to the skeletal musculature. As well as, to stimulate the peripheral nervous system.
This massage is great for pre-event preparation and post-event recovery. It is intended to enhance athletic performance and recovery.
Prenatal and Pregnancy Massage

The goals of this massage are to reduce anxiety and stress, relieve back pain and inflammation, improve sleep, boost mood and to help strengthen the immune system. This massage will also stimulate the lymphatic system to reduce water rendition and bloating.
